CatalogBridge
CatalogBridge checks authorized catalog records for missing or incomplete data, compares source and storefront records, and lets merchants approve which corrections are applied.
Clover authorizes the catalog and inventory records CatalogBridge imports; Shopify is the connected storefront. Existing Shopify product names, images, and descriptions remain controlled in Shopify after setup.
How it works
Catalog data-quality checks
Find missing or incomplete SKUs, stock, prices, unit costs, and categories before updating a storefront.
Source and storefront comparison
Compare authorized Clover records with Shopify products and the selected stock location.
Controlled reconciliation
Preview proposed corrections, approve selected changes, and inspect each recorded result.
What CatalogBridge can update
- Products and variants created during catalog setup.
- SKUs, stock quantities, prices, unit cost, and Clover categories as product tags.
- One selected Shopify stock location, with optional cleanup of old quantities in other Shopify locations.
What stays merchant-controlled
- Existing storefront product titles after catalog setup.
- Product images and descriptions.
- Checkout, payments, refunds, gift cards, and orders.
Before you begin
- Use a Clover merchant account that has catalog and inventory access.
- Use a Shopify account that can approve product, inventory, and location access for the connected storefront.
- Choose the Shopify stock location CatalogBridge should update before running a broad setup sync.
CatalogBridge is a catalog and inventory workspace. It does not route checkout, payment, refund, gift card, order, or in-person sales activity through Clover.
